MEET THE TEAM
Guillermo Gomez, founder of Martial Fusion, has been training martial arts for over 35 years, currently a 5th degree black belt in Aikido by Hombu Dojo Japan, fluent in Spanish and English, with a degree in Marketing and Advertising, and a former Creative writer for Saatchi & Saatchi. Guillermo has an extensive world travel experience, from healing shamanic rituals in the Amazon Jungle to China's legendary Shaolin Temple, to collaborations with multiple law enforcement agencies, military personnel, and international organizations along the years, while following the path of meditation within the martial arts.
Dane S. Harden began training in the martial arts in 1969. He has lived an adventurous life as a soldier and warrior. He currently holds an 8th Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do, a 6th Dan in Kick-Boxing, a 4th Dan in Aikido, and a 4th Dan in Samurai Sword. Additionally, Dane Harden was a developer and contributor to the current U.S. Army Combative Program, and served in the U.S. ARMY for thirty-five years. He was a Senior Flight Surgeon and is a retired US Army Colonel. He served nine tours of duty in direct combat operations. His primary role involved trauma medical evacuation. During his tenure, he completed over one hundred medical evacuations in combat and various disaster zones.
Rene Revilla has been an active Police officer since 1981 and successfully completed for the City of Miami S.W.A.T training, becoming an Operator until 2002. During that period, Rene Revilla completed 289 Missions, which consisted of responding to Barricaded Subjects, Executing Warrants, Civil Disturbances, Police Shootings, and all incidents involving armed and unstable individuals who posed danger to themselves or others.
Joe Polzak serves as legal counsel to the City of Sarasota, the Sarasota Police Department, and several other police departments and sheriff’s offices. He previously served as a felony prosecutor for the State of Florida as an Assistant State Attorney, and received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army Reserves after being directly commissioned in the Army JAG Corps. Mr. Polzak is an active member of the International Assoc. of Chiefs of Police (IACP) and the IACP Legal Officers Section, the Florida Association of Police Attorneys (FAPA) and state and federal courts.
